●The estimations this website provides on various hazardous areas have been based on certain conditions. In times of an actual disaster, there is a possibility that the scope of the hazard will be greater than predicted.
●Before using this website to access the accessible map data (henceforth, “data”) please make sure to read the usage agreement below. The agreement below is a contract between website users (henceforth, “users”) an Tara Town regarding usage conditions of the data. <Information regarding floods>
●Flood prone areas are regions have been deemed so by the country and by Saga Prefecture after taking into consideration the range and depth of flood waters during times of river flooding when heavy rain falls under the conditions assumed for each river.
●This website does not show possible flood waters from waterways etc., so caution must also be taken in areas that are not colored yellow.
<Information regarding sediment disasters>
●Sediment disaster prone areas are regions specified by Saga Prefecture under the “Sediment Disaster Countermeasures for Sediment Disaster Prone Areas Act” (also called the, “Sediment Disasters Prevention Act”) that present danger to residents if cliff areas collapse or there is a debris flow.The information on sediment disaster prone areas are based on the result of research conducted by Saga Prefecture.
